Gettou Balance Lotion
The Gettou Balance Lotion from Ruhaku is a lightweight toning lotion worn throughout the day to rejuvenate and soften skin while stabilizing problem areas. The combination of polyphenol-rich gettou (shell ginger) essence and moisturizing umibudo (sea grapes) naturally protects and heals dry or sensitive skin.
What’s inside? Key ingredients include:
- Organic gettou (Alpinia zerumbet) extract: A relative of ginger revered for its attractive flowers and exceptional antioxidant properties, gettou has been used in Okinawa for centuries in both cuisine and traditional medicine. The gettou extracts in this lotion are from organically cultivated plants grown on Hamahiga Island.
- Umibudo (Caulerpa lentillifera): A type of seaweed high in minerals, polyphenols, and amino acids; commonly referred to as "sea grapes"
- Okinawan seawater (nigari): Said to be easily absorbed by the body due to a similar fluid and mineral balance
- Herbal extracts: Organic extracts of aloe, rosehip, yarrow, sage and thyme

Hailing from the pristine shores of Okinawa, the Ruhaku Beauty Collection offers skincare products based on fresh, organic ingredients. Thoroughly cleanse your face prior to application. Take a quarter-sized amount of lotion in your hands - or use a cotton pad if you prefer - then gently smooth it over your face until the lotion has been absorbed into the skin.
Use within 3 years if unopened or 3 months if open. Avoid contact with eyes. Due to the use of natural ingredients, fragrance and color may change slightly over time; this is natural and will not affect the quality of the product. Do not allow water into the container.
