Born and raised in the prolific ceramics hub of Iga City, Naoko Yoshimura combines the techniques of her home with an illustrative style inspired by ancient Japanese folk art. Her dinnerware series renders scenes of natural whimsy in deep, blue hues set against a backdrop of semi-porcelain.
