These 100% cotton Imabari towels are gently woven on vintage low-speed looms to maintain the integrity of their high-quality threads, then cleansed of oils and impurities to maximize their water capacity.
The result is a thicker Imabari bath towel with minimal shrinkage and incredible comfort that modern machines simply cannot reproduce.

How To Maintain & Clean Your Imabari Bath Towels
To retain the spa-like qualities of Imabari towels, we recommend gently washing them with cool water cycles. For the best results, wash them with similar colors to prevent color transfer, use a gentle detergent, and avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, and fabric softener altogether as they can reduce towel absorbency.
When hand washing, use a gentle soap and avoid abrasive materials to protect the towel’s fibers from splitting and separating. After washing the towel, give it a gentle shake and let it hang dry. If you’d like to enhance the towel’s fluff, put it in the dryer on a low-tumble setting to restore fiber softness.
