The MOBJE Collection

Founded in Onomichi in 2019, MOBJE’s origins began in 1948 as a renowned hat-making company. Due to changes in fashion trends and a need to upcycle raw materials, MOBJE was born to transform excess fabric into objets d’art and functional decor through its time-honored techniques. 

Made from locally produced raffia palm and Japanese washi paper, each expressive piece is handcrafted by experienced artisans and made complete by you by rearranging the shape to suit your space.
