Enjoy crisp, pure and delicious water with all-natural Morihata Binchotan Charcoal Sticks.

Binchotan is widely considered one of the most effective types of activated charcoal due to its extensive internal surface area. Its powerful purifying properties easily attract unwanted elements in tap water, binding them to the charcoal's surface through a process called adsorption to remove them from the water.

Each pair of sticks can purify up to a gallon of water for at least three months - no plastic involved. Once they're used up, simply break the charcoal into pieces and add them to a garden or potted plant to improve drainage and aerate the soil.

Embrace a zero-waste lifestyle with these eco-friendly binchotan water purifiers.

Morihata Binchotan

Revered in Japan since the Edo Period, binchotan is a premium activated charcoal that serves as a natural air and water purifier. Its innate detoxifying properties make it a potent addition to many beauty and wellness goods, where it helps to cleanse on a microscopic level. Morihata Binchotan charcoal is made through traditional methods from 100% ubame oak by artisans working in the birthplace of binchotan, the Kishu region of Wakayama Prefecture.
