Among the first in Kyoto to fire a kiln, the Zuikogama workshop played an integral role in the development of early Kyo-ware – a ceramic style known for its vibrant colors, elaborate patterns, and novel glazing techniques. Now, Zuikogama hope to usher the art form into the modern era.
