MOBJE answers “what if home decor could change form?” The Lapel Raffia Vase is woven with raffia palm to create a flexible brim and base, reminiscent of a crocheted sun hat, that can be rearranged to fit your personal style or bouquet of flowers.
Its organic form and texture offer an attractive addition to tablescapes. Each vase includes a vessel to hold water for floral arrangements and brass clips to change the brim’s form.
*If arranging the vase’s brim becomes difficult, gently loosen the brass clips by hand, secure around the material, then pinch the clips to lightly tighten them.

Set among the picturesque slopes of Onomichi City and the Seto Inland Sea, founded in 2019, MOBJE’s origins began in 1948 as a renowned hat-making company. Due to changes in fashion trends and a need to upcycle raw materials, MOBJE was born to transform excess fabric into objets d’art and functional decor through its time-honored techniques.
Made from locally produced raffia palm and Japanese washi paper, each expressive piece is handcrafted by experienced artisans and made complete by you by rearranging the shape to suit your space.

To remove wrinkles, place an ironing cloth over the wrinkled area and gently pass a steam iron over the area. Smooth out the cooled material with your hand. Repeat until wrinkles are gone.
To remove dust, use a soft brush and wipe parallel to the seams of the material. If the vase becomes stained, dilute a mild detergent in lukewarm water, then soak a washcloth in the solution, lightly wringing it out. Lay the vase down to clean. Use a warm, clean wet cloth to remove detergent, then wipe off extra moisture with a dry cloth.
Reshape the garment as you like and dry it in a shaded and well-ventilated area.

For this reason, we offer a 30-day return or exchange window on orders, with a few exceptions:

- Opened beauty and wellness products cannot be returned.
- Consumable products, such as food or tea, cannot be returned.
