Chakōro Incense

A kōro - or more specifically, chakōro - is a device used to diffuse the scent of tea leaves through indirect heat. Alternatively, dry materials such as wood shavings or flowers can be heated to release their natural fragrance.

• To use, place the tea candle inside, set the plate on top, and add a scoop of Maboroshi41.
• Always use a tea candle. Using other types of candles may cause damage.
• Use in a location where children and pets cannot reach and where there are no flammable materials nearby.
• Do not pour water or other liquids on the kouro while it is still hot to avoid damage.
• Do not carry the kouro while the candle is lit.
• Do not place lit matches or similar items inside the candle.
• The kouro will become hot during use; do not touch it. When extinguishing the flame, carefully lift the plate by its edge.
