A kōro - or more specifically, chakōro - is a device used to diffuse the scent of tea leaves through indirect heat. Alternatively, dry materials such as wood shavings or flowers can be heated to release their natural fragrance.
Dish (dia. 5.9" x H .78") Base (dia. 5.3" x H 3.14")
Base: Porcelain
Dish: Ceramic
Modeled after a traditional kouro burner, this vessel works to diffuse the fragrance of dried flowers, tea leaves, or wood shavings placed upon its heating plate. A tea candle's flame alone is enough to warm the material from below, filling the air with a spellbinding and potent aroma.
Includes a packet of Maboroshi blend tea leaves and one candle.
