The Kirié Club at Rikumo

Ready to make some friends? For the first time, the Rikumo concept store will host regular meetings of like-minded locals as part of our new Kirié Club!

Join us for some communal crafting as we gather to practice kirié, the ancient art of Japanese paper-cutting. Under the guidance of kirié enthusiast and club mentor Kimi Benjamin, attendees will create unique artwork, swap tips and techniques, cultivate a satisfying new hobby and generally enjoy the act of creating art with others.

Each session of this monthly club will last for approximately 90 minutes. Precision knives, cutting mats and colorful paper will be provided, along with an array of templates from world-renowned kirié master Shu Kubo.

No matter your level of ability, we hope you join us for this friendly, collaborative experience!
