Jicon Porcelain Mug

Every aspect of this matte-white porcelain mug is designed for modern, everyday use. The rim is curved slightly outward to gently meet one’s lips. The base of the mug is built slightly larger than the body, making it more stable when placed on a table.

About Jicon
The distinctive Jicon porcelain collection derives its name from the Japanese words for "porcelain (JI) in modern times (CON)." Crafted by the Imamura family, Jicon is a family run porcelain company that derived from the renown Touetsugama kiln, founded 350 years ago. The collection blends Western and Eastern porcelain traditions: while the porcelain is traditionally made from the Touetsugama kiln, the smooth white texture recalls soft-paste English porcelain from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Please note: because of the handmade nature of Jicon pieces, some pieces may experience slight variations in glaze and colors. Please contact us at info@rikumo.com with any questions.
