Tsumiki Stacking Blocks
Create gigantic pyramids, birds of paradise, and unique sculptures with these wooden stacking blocks designed by celebrated architect and Tokyo Olympics Stadium designer Kengo Kuma. Made of lightweight cedar wood, these triangular blocks can be stacked and arranged on top of each other in a a light, transparent construction that mirrors contemporary Japanese architecture.
The Kuma Tsumiki Building Blocks were created in collaboration with More Trees, a forest conservation organization led by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto that makes toys out of thinned wood. Tree thinning is an eco-friendly forestation technique where weak, ageing trees are cleared from overcrowded forests so that the forest as a whole can continue to thrive. The wood is Japanese cedar wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Each piece in this collection is made from solid Cherry Birch Wood and is expertly turned by a craftsman before being lacquered and dried over the course of nearly a year. This level of detail results in a nearly airtight seal despite being made from wood.
Specifically designed with matcha in mind, this style features a second inner lid to prevent spills. Holds 100g.
