Jicon Porcelain Hexagon Plate

An elegant way to personalize your place settings, these handcrafted plates are made from smooth, white porcelain with a traditional geometrical Sumi rim in a hexagonal shape. Enjoy as a decorative tray or serving plate.

The distinctive Jicon porcelain collection derives its name from the Japanese words for "porcelain (JI) in modern times (CON)." Crafted by the Imamura family, Jicon is a family run porcelain company that derived from the renown Touetsugama kiln, founded 350 years ago. The collection blends Western and Eastern porcelain traditions: while the porcelain is traditionally made from the Touetsugama kiln, the smooth white texture recalls soft-paste english porcelain from the 18th and 19th centuries.
